Hurricane Resource Center
The safety of our clients and drivers is our top priority; so when a hurricane strikes, Wheels takes all available precautions to mitigate impacts to our clients’ vehicles and drivers.
We proactively reach out to our suppliers in the affected areas to understand their response plans. You can expect Wheels to relay information in the following areas: Wheels call volume, roadside assistance, new vehicle orders and deliveries, fuel management, auction and repair, mail service, driver safety tips.
According to media reports, the U.S. National Hurricane Center declared Hurricane Dorian "fully extra-tropical" in what the center said would be its last advisory on the storm. Dorian's core was over the cold waters of the Labrador Sea off Canada. Hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses lost power in Canada and it may take days to restore service.
We will continue to assess the aftermath of the storm, but as far as we know none of our vehicles have been impacted. We remain in close communication with our supplier partners and will provide updates accordingly.
