As chief financial officer, Shlomo leads Wheels’ Finance team and is responsible for financial management, which includes communicating with clients about our strong financial position and with financial stakeholders about the high level of integrity and operating discipline for which Wheels is known. Functional responsibilities include oversight of accounting and financial reporting, billing, tax, treasury, credit and risk management, legal compliance, financial planning, collections and accounts payable.
Shlomo joined Wheels in 2006 and has 30 years of diverse experience across financial disciplines in both private and public companies. Prior to joining Wheels, Shlomo held leadership positions at Transamerica Finance Corporation and earned progressively greater responsibilities in internal audit and treasury, while providing structuring guidance on corporate development projects. He attained the position of senior vice president and treasurer. Earlier, he worked in public accounting as a senior audit manager at KPMG, specializing in banking, finance and insurance.
Shlomo graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor of Sciences degree in Accounting. He earned his Master of Business Administration, with concentrations in Finance and Marketing, from the University of Chicago. He is a certified public accountant.
