Chris Watkins serves as the Chief Fleet Operations Officer at Wheels, leading the operations organization with a focus on operational excellence, performance culture, service delivery evolution, and key transformational initiatives. He guides all operations functions while concentrating on the deployment of innovative solutions encompassing people, processes, and technology.
In his role, Chris is dedicated to enhancing customer loyalty through process improvements, performance metrics, orchestration of key talent, and technology integration. His leadership is crucial in driving operational effectiveness and advancing transformation at Wheels.
Chris brings over 30 years of experience in operational leadership. Before joining Wheels, he spent 13 years at Assurant, holding several key positions, including Vice President of Operations Transformation, Operations Performance, and Technology. Prior to Assurant, Chris worked at Hewlett Packard for 17 years as Section Director of Strategic Planning, Customer Experience, and Outsourcing, where he significantly contributed to operational advancements and market leadership.
Chris studied Management Information Systems at Oglethorpe University in addition to studying Journalism at the University of Georgia. He is a certified Six Sigma Master Blackbelt and a champion for diversity, equity and inclusion for the value that it brings to organizations. He volunteers at several non-profits and served as Board President and Treasurer for the Atlanta based Art Papers organization.
