Chris Watkins serves as the Chief Global Partner Officer (CGPO) at Wheels, overseeing Procurement, Vendor Management, In Life Operations, Global Operations, and Portfolio Strategy.
Previously, Chris served as Wheels’ Chief Fleet Operations Officer, where he led the operations organization focusing on integration, operational excellence, performance culture, and service delivery transformational initiatives. He was responsible for deploying innovative solutions across people, processes, and technology.
Chris brings over 33 years of operational experience. Before joining Wheels, he spent 13 years at Assurant, in several key positions, including Vice President of Operations Transformation, Operations Performance, and Technology. Prior to Assurant, Chris worked at Hewlett Packard for 17 years as Section Director of Strategic Planning, Customer Experience, and Outsourcing, contributing significantly to operational advancements and customer loyalty.
Chris studied Management Information Systems at Oglethorpe University and Journalism at the University of Georgia. He is a certified Six Sigma Master Blackbelt and a champion for diversity, culture, and leadership development. He volunteers at several non-profits and served as Board President and Treasurer for the Atlanta based Art Papers organization.
