Chris Smith serves as the Chief Transformation and Strategy Officer at Wheels, leading the company’s transformation, integration, and strategic planning initiatives. He has extensive experience leading global organizations in acquisitions, business transformations, system implementations and the creation of shared service centers. In his current role, Chris drives large-scale change management, and his expertise is pivotal in shaping Wheels’ strategic vision and ensuring successful execution.
Chris brings over 25 years of experience in leading and collaborating with global organizations on extensive change management projects. Before joining Wheels, he was the Managing Director – Head of Product, Innovation & Change Management at JP Morgan Chase, where he led the development and execution of the strategic vision and technology roadmap. Earlier in his career, Chris held key leadership roles at GE Capital in the US, Germany, and the UK. He began his career at Deloitte Consulting as a merger consultant, focusing on the design and implementation of enterprise applications.
Chris received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has earned Six Sigma Certification. He is a member of the Bank and Finance Technology – FinTech Banking Systems Financial Executives and the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association.
