Texas Pauses Proposed Titling Changes

Last month, we communicated that all DMVs in Texas (TxDMV) have changed their procedures for titling new fleet vehicles. This notice came without warning and was a universal change impacting other fleet management and rental car companies. The change delayed the titling and delivery of new vehicles in Texas. We are pleased to inform you that those new procedures for titling fleet vehicles in Texas have been paused by the TxDMV.  For now, Wheels can resume titling and registering fleet vehicles in Texas as we have done in the past.   

At this time, we don’t know when the TxDMV will lift the pause and reinstate the titling changes. We will continue to stay close to the situation and communicate accordingly. If you have any questions, please contact your Account Manager.
