Wheels Hosts 12th Annual Results+ Fleet Performance Summit
Just a few weeks ago, we had the incredible opportunity to bring together a powerhouse group of fleet leaders from some of North America’s most iconic brands at the Wheels Results+ Fleet Performance Summit. Celebrating its 12th year, this annual tradition reached record breaking heights this year, with over 270 registered guests representing more than 180 organizations.
What is now one of the largest corporate fleet professional forums in the industry, the Results+ Fleet Summit is a unique opportunity for members of the Wheels community to come together, celebrate our achievements, and reflect on our collective progress. It serves as an invaluable forum for exchanging diverse ideas and experiences. We use this Summit to award and celebrate companies who have achieved successes in key fleet performance categories: Cost Optimization, Revenue Generation, Operational Efficiency, Environmental & Social Responsibility, Driver Satisfaction, Risk Mitigation, and Compliance. These recognized companies highlight a spirit of ingenuity, strategic thinking, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
The focus of the Summit’s program is on our clients, so we stack our agenda with presentations and panel discussion about the results they’ve achieved in partnership with Wheels. Below is a summary of our days together – if you were in attendance, thank you! If you missed it this year, be sure to join us next!
From Vision to Reality – Panel Highlights
Our first client panel, Achieving Top-Down Corporate Goals, showcased the diverse journeys of clients who were tasked with some very hard to reach missions. They shared how they used their resources to get buy-in and accomplish those goals. Key successes included streamlining communication and user experience, DEI-driven procurement, and centralized operations to improve processes and outcomes.
Another client panel discussion, New Solutions: Putting Ideas into Motion, spotlighted inspiring innovation successes – introducing and executing transformative ideas to their fleets such as implementing new pool management solutions, leading an electrification initiative in record time, and rolling out an employee-choice vehicle reimbursement program.
Our final panel discussion brought together some of the industry’s Fleet All Stars who explored the topic of Leading Through Change. Panelists shared insights into setting and achieving annual goals. They discussed the challenges encountered, from addressing roadblocks to countering skepticism, and offered strategies to navigate these hurdles effectively and drive progress.
Featured Sessions and Deeper Dives
Beyond the panel discussions, we hosted featured sessions one of which included a presentation from one of our Canadian clients, and their fleet consulting executive. They took a deeper dive into the details of how they transformed their operations – moving from a decentralized to a centralized model. By streamlining data sources and management tools, maximizing asset utilization, and embracing connected vehicle technology, they improved how their fleet supports the business.
Tapping into the spirit of transformation, Shlomo Crandus, Wheels CEO, delivered a heartfelt reflection on 2024, which he described as a year of significant integration, innovation, and learning. He spoke about how Wheels transformation is driven by our incredible client and employees whose expertise and adaptability keep us moving forward.
As I walk away from the Summit, I always feel energized and inspired by our clients’ accomplishments. While this year was no different, it was amplified by our keynote speaker Robyn Benincasa who is a world class adventurer, endurance racer, and firefighter. Robyn’s insights and experiences aligned perfectly with the Summit’s themes of resilience, teamwork, and innovation.
The Global Perspective
Laura Jozwiak, Chief Client Officer from Wheels, and Gavin Eagle, Global Director – International, from Ayvens offered a global perspective on fleet trends, challenges, and opportunities, while reinforcing the strength of our strategic alliance. Laura concluded the general session with an inspiring and motivational speech, emphasizing the need to “rethink, redefine, and reengage” as businesses tackle new challenges and opportunities.
Innovation and Collaboration in New Spaces
Last, but certainly not least, the final day of the Summit was hosted at our beautiful, LEED certified, new Illinois location. Clients were treated to an exclusive tour of our new office and saw, firsthand, how it blends employee health and wellness with business collaboration and innovation. As attendees networked with Wheels leaders, representatives from Wheels Product Management and Truck and Equipment teams delivered insight into some new products and services through breakout sessions. After the open house and product showcases, clients assembled, by industry, for focused roundtable discussions.
As we close the books on our latest Summit and wrap up 2024, we want to extend our gratitude to our clients. Your partnership and trust inspire us every day, and as we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited to embrace new opportunities together. Thank you for being an integral part of our journey!
