Des Plaines, Ill., October 25, 2018 – Wheels, Inc., a leader in the automotive fleet management and services industry, hosted a successful 2018 Results+ Fleet Performance Summit October 23-25 in Chicago. The annual Summit brought together more than 150 attendees to showcase fleet management success stories, network and share best practices with peers.
The open forum allows clients to hear first-hand about initiatives their peers have taken and receive direct feedback to their questions. “It’s so rewarding to see our clients learning from each other,” said Suresh Rajapakse, Vice President of Account Management at Wheels. “The Summit provides a great opportunity to break away from the everyday — to network, collaborate, and share ideas regarding new strategies that drive real results.”
During the Summit, Wheels recognized 21 clients who achieved notable recent successes in Total Cost Management, Fleet Administration & Ease, Risk Mitigation, Integration & Control and Driver Productivity & Satisfaction. For each presentation and panel discussion, a client representative partnered with their Wheels Account Manager to share the strategies and processes that contributed to their strong fleet performance.
This year’s Summit attracted a record number of Wheels clients with a broad range of tenure and from a broad range of industries including Oil and Gas, Building Services, Healthcare, and Construction. “There is always something new and fresh to discuss in this industry,” said Laura Jozwiak, Senior Vice President of Sales and Client Relations at Wheels. “Managing a fleet is not getting any easier, each year it gets more complex. We need to work together in order to share the ideas, the tools and the results that help us all improve.”
Additionally, an industry focused discussion was led by Dan Frank, President and CEO of Wheels. The dialogue covered the current economic climate and industry trends.
On the second day of the Summit, Wheels hosted an Open House and Product Fair at their headquarters, providing the opportunity for clients to get a behind-the-scenes experience. Attendees interacted with members of their Account Team and met with Wheels’ operational and leadership teams. Representatives from Wheels’ Client Analytics and Product Management teams showcased Wheels’ products, technology and analytic tools through workshops and demonstrations.
