Hurricane Nicole, a rare November hurricane, made landfall yesterday near Vero Beach, Florida as a Category 1 storm. It was quickly downgraded to a tropical storm after it hit. The Wheels Donlen community is thinking about those affected by the storm.
While it is still early to know the impact to our drivers and vehicles, below are a few important notices:
- Outreach to dealerships will start on Monday to understand the potential impact. Overall, our new vehicle risk level was low – coming in at around 20 vehicles in the affected area.
- Be advised that fuel shortages may occur, and prices may increase. At this time, we have not heard of any impacts to supply.
- Roadside assistance will be prioritized to help those in emergency situations.
- Rentals may be scarce or unavailable in the impacted areas.
The Wheels Donlen Hurricane Task Force will continue to monitor the situation, take appropriate action and report back accordingly.

We completed our call campaign to dealerships and have no damaged units that we are aware of from Hurricane Nicole.
