Andy Van Beck shares how customizing and regularly reviewing your fleet policy can help create a safety culture in your organization.
There are more accidents this time of year than any other time, and this year has been a particularly tough one, with the largest increase in traffic crash deaths than ever before. This is a good time to remind your #fleet #drivers that your fleet policy prohibits operating their fleet vehicle while impaired by drugs and/or alcohol. Even if you don’t imbibe or partake, driver fatigue and distractions are always a potential hazard. Wheels always wants driver safety to be top of mind.
NHTSA’s “Drive Sober Holiday Campaign” offers a good reminder this time of year that “Buzzed” driving is drunk driving. Drink safely at home, use a rideshare service, or have a designated sober driver. We want you to get through this joyful time of year safe and sound.
