Access vehicle documents in FleetView
The FleetView Document Upload functionality provides a centralized location for attaching and accessing vehicle documents. Key Highlights include:
- Enhanced Document Management: Easily attach images and documents to vehicle records in the ‘Photos & Docs’ tab.
- User Guidelines: Files must not contain confidential or sensitive information, including driver’s license, social security number, motor vehicle records, or banking or credit card information.
- For Reference Only: Uploaded files are for internal fleet use and do not trigger operational processes.
- Access Controls: Documents are visible only to authorized FleetView users in your organization and not accessible to drivers.
To learn more about how to use this feature, refer to the User Guide available in the Help Center.
Custom Query Tool
The Custom Query Tool (CQT) now generates reports faster, with added flexibility. Users can edit or delete schedules, making it easier to manage reports created by others, if, for example, a team member leaves the fleet. Vehicle mileage is now viewable by calendar or billing months, and the Connected Vehicle “Trips List” report is available in the FleetView Reporting Center. This report can also be scheduled to automatically send all trips from a specified time period, complete with date and time stamps.
Request Help
A Request Help feature has been added to the Wheels Mobile Assistant (WMA) app that bypasses a Driver’s need to make a phone call. With a tap of a button, Drivers can now quickly request assistance through the app, by choosing from a variety of categories and sub-categories, such as fuel, registration, violations, and more.
With this enhancement, Drivers will be able to:
- Save time by easily submitting specific tasks for completion through the app.
- Track requests by monitoring the status of requests directly in the app.
- Receive status updates via email when the case is updated as well as see status changes in the app.
If your Drivers don’t have the WMA app, they can download it for free from the app store and log in with their DriverView User ID and Password.
