Sharing Custom Queries

FleetView just made reporting even more collaborative. With the latest update to the Custom Query Tool (CQT), users can now publish their custom queries—making them available to anyone within the same fleet. This enhancement streamlines access to key reports and helps teams work more efficiently with shared data.

How it works:

Publishing a query is simple. Just head to the FleetView Reporting Center > Queries, select your custom query, and click the new ‘Publish’ button. You’ll be prompted to enter a unique name and description for easy identification.

Once published, your query will appear in the Custom Queries tile. Other users in your fleet can run, schedule, or duplicate it for their own use. Anyone who already has permission to view and manage report schedules now has publishing access as well. Don’t have this permission yet? Reach out to your account team to get started.

New Fuel Monitoring Service

Fuel Monitoring works alongside your existing Fuel Compliance program by sending automated email alerts to drivers when a fueling exception is detected. Drivers are prompted to verify the transaction directly from the email using a simple Yes or No response. It’s a fast, intuitive way to confirm transaction legitimacy and reduce fraud risk.

Why Fuel Monitoring Matters

Fuel Monitoring adds a critical layer of control and accountability to your fuel program. Here’s how it strengthens your operations:

  • Driver Awareness: Alerts prompt drivers to review unusual fuel activity – similar to a credit card fraud alert – increasing accountability at the ground level.
  • Interactive Capability: If a driver marks a transaction as unauthorized, their fuel card is automatically canceled, and a replacement is ordered — no manual follow-up required.
  • Visibility & Reporting: All flagged transactions are available in your Fuel Compliance Dashboard, with new fields to track the email sent date, driver response date, and their feedback.
  • Multilingual Accessibility: Notifications are available in English, French, and Spanish to ensure clear communication across your fleet.
