Wheels Inc Named One of Chicago's Best and Brightest Companies to Work for

Des Plaines, Ill, June 7, 2018 - Wheels, Inc., a leader in the automotive fleet leasing and management industry, was named one of “Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” in 2018 by the National Association of Business Resources (NABR). This competition honors and recognizes organizations that display a commitment to excellence in employee enrichment as well as dedication to overall employee satisfaction.

This is the 9th consecutive year that Wheels has been selected as a “Best and Brightest” company. Each year, an independent research firm appraises Chicagoland nominees based on various criteria in order to determine which companies will make the “Best and Brightest” list. Assessment categories include communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention, and more. Employee surveys are also considered in the selection process.

“At Wheels, our goal has always been to continuously create an engaging workplace environment for all employees,” said Mary Formosa, Vice President of Human Resources at Wheels. “Employees feel meaningfully and personally connected to their work and the company. This high level of employee satisfaction is a key factor in being able to successfully attract and retain the best employees, which allows us to better serve our clients.”

Wheels commits to the success of its employees from the very start of employment by fostering a welcoming environment combined with the encouragement to continuously learn and grow. Throughout employees’ careers at Wheels, the company offers a variety of benefits, such as educational opportunities, wellness programs, and a focus on professional development. One of the reasons the NABR continues to honor Wheels is its dedication to enriching the lives of employees.

In addition, Wheels is actively involved in giving back to the community. Through a volunteer partnership with North Elementary School, employees can tutor and mentor local youth. “We promote a team-oriented company culture by working together to make a positive impact on our community,” said Formosa.

Wheels and the other selected organizations will be honored at a celebratory presentation and luncheon on July 27.
