Joe Hanlon serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Wheels, leading the finance function which encompasses controllership, financial planning & analysis, risk management, pricing, financial services, treasury, and investor communications.
In his role, Joe drives the financial strategy and ensures robust economic health for Wheels, supporting growth and operational efficiency. His creative and engaging leadership style is crucial in maintaining strong financial governance and supporting strategic business decisions.
Before joining Wheels Donlen in 2022, Joe was the Chief Financial Officer for the U.S. Personal and Commercial Banking units at BMO, where he led the finance team in planning, stress testing, and business decision-making for the personal and commercial finance sectors. Prior to his tenure at BMO, Joe had a distinguished 25+ year career with GE and GE Capital, where he held key responsible roles, ultimately serving as divisional CFO for several GE Capital units in the equipment and commercial lending sectors.
Joe holds a BS in Finance from Fairfield University and an MBA in International Business from the University of Connecticut. His personal causes include organizations supporting children, education and health.
