A large bank set a goal to make its drivers safer by reducing both the number of collisions and their monthly cost per driver by at least 10%—decreasing the number of high-risk drivers.
Meanwhile, it resolved to secure drivers’ data through an audit performed on Wheels, by its own data security experts.
Wheels conducted a review and refinement of the fleet safety policy, then created a customized training module and assigned it to all drivers, existing and new. Training modules were assigned based on the most common types of preventable accidents.
Mandatory motor vehicle record checks were run on all current drivers and on prospective new ones, ensuring that every new driver brought less risk. For data security, the bank secured access to Wheels DriverView™ and FleetView™ through a Simplified Sign-On login and conducted Application Development Security Framework scan/penetration testing.
