This is the 10<sup>th<\/sup> year Wheels received the honor. Wheels and the other selected organizations were honored at a virtual celebration presentation on July 24.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re so grateful for our people,\u201d said Mary Formosa, vice president of human resources at Wheels. \u201cEven through challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic, our employees continue to stand with Wheels because of our strong values and our commitment to their health and safety. Our high level of employee satisfaction and engagement cannot be swayed. This is largely due to transparency, flexibility and our culture of doing the right thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The independent research firm appraises Chicagoland companies based on various criteria, such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition and retention. Employee surveys are also considered in the selection process.<\/p>\n<p>Wheels commits to the success of its employees from the start of employment by fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all, combined with the encouragement to continuously learn and grow. Throughout employees\u2019 careers at Wheels, the company offers a variety of benefits, such as educational opportunities, wellness programs, and a focus on professional development. Wheels is dedicated to enriching the lives of employees, which is one of the reasons the NABR continues to honor Wheels.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Wheels is actively involved in giving back to the community. This year, employees raised over $130,000 in donations with a company match to United Way.
