Wheels Announces Addition of New Driver Performance Service to their Safety First Program

1/25/2010

DES PLAINES, Ill., January 25, 2010 – Wheels, Inc., a leader in the multi-billion-dollar fleet-leasing industry, recently introduced its new Wheels Driver Performance service. The latest addition to their Safety First program, Driver Performance moves beyond using driver records and collision data to provide clients with the most comprehensive, integrated, and flexible way to identify and take action on their drivers’ performance.

“All fleets are concerned with keeping their drivers safe, but safety programs can be difficult to manage, track progress and measure performance against your overall fleet program objectives when the data resides in multiple places and has to be maintained separately,” said Stratford Dick, Senior Director of Marketing. “The Driver Performance service gives you a way to make your program more accessible and more complete.”

Through Driver Performance, you receive a comprehensive picture of all the issues - such as driver incidents, actions taken, and the results of those actions. The service integrates all of your important driver information through our safety web console, eliminating the need to spend time monitoring programs across multiple vendors. The events included in the safety web console are customizable, so you may include a broad range of risk- and safety-related items or even broader policy issues and any other data points that are important to managing your program.
