Wheels Promotes Daniel Z. Frank

DES PLAINES, Ill., January 13, 2010 – Wheels, Inc., a leader in the multi-billion-dollar fleet-leasing industry, recently announced the promotion of Daniel Z. Frank to President of Wheels Services. Wheels Services provides operating support to nearly 300,000 corporate fleet vehicles with services such as maintenance management, accident repair, safety, telematics and fuel management. The business generates annual revenues in excess of $750 million.

“Dan will be responsible for further enhancing the quality and value of our existing services while also exploring and developing new products which enhance the programs that we bring to our clients,” said Jim Frank, Wheels CEO. “The expansion of his responsibilities at Wheels represents one more important step forward as we enhance Wheels as the pre-eminent fleet management leasing company in North America and world-wide with our partner, ALD Automotive. His multi-faceted experience and expertise bring additional diversity and depth to Wheels proven leadership team.”
 
Dan graduated from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and earned his MBA at Stanford University. In addition to more than eleven years at Wheels in a various roles, Dan has worked in systems development at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), environmental management for the Department of the Interior, and he conceptualized, financed and built an online restaurant supply business which he successfully sold to a larger distributor.
