These systems became the foundation of the technology being used today to manage fleets across the U.S.

Jim has also chaired an industry committee which represented the views of fleet users regarding federal personal use legislation, and is presently Chairman of an AALA committee that is dedicated to addressing changes to lease accounting proposed by FASB.

Jim has also been a keynote speaker at numerous industry events – including NAFA and AFLA annual conferences – and has spoken at the Automotive News World Congress.

Jim is currently Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Chicago Hospitals, a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Chicago, Chair of the Intrinsic Network of Charter Schools, and Chair of the Finance Committee of the Field Museum of Chicago.  He also serves on the Board of the Illinois Network of Charter Schools (INCS) and on the Board of Overseers at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
